*In anticipation of the Andre Harrell all-star tribute set to air this weekend, we’re celebrating his brilliant stewardship of Uptown Records, the imprint he founded in 1986 and where he groomed a ridiculous roster that included powerhouse talent Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Heavy D & the Boyz and Guy.

Harrell died on May 7 at age 59 of cardiac arrest. His life, legacy and impact on popular music will be celebrated in the commercial-free special “A Tribute to Andre Harrell,” airing at 7 p.m. Sunday on REVOLT, BET, iONE digital brands, and Fox Soul.

We’re starting the party early with an EUR Video Throwback of Harrell’s ten biggest Uptown hits and their peak position as determined by Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The tally is dominated by Jodeci, who comes in at both No. 10 and No. 1 … and at a bunch of spots in between.

10. “Stay,” Jodeci, No. 1 (two weeks), Feb. 8, 1992

9. “I Like,” Guy, No. 2, May 13, 1989

8. “I Wanna Get With U,” Guy, No. 4, Dec. 22, 1990

7. “You Remind Me,” Mary J. Blige, No. 1 (one week), July 25, 1992

6. “Come & Talk to Me,” Jodeci, No. 1 (two weeks), May 30, 1992

5. “Cry For You,” Jodeci, No. 1 (four weeks), Jan. 15, 1994

4. “Lately,” Jodeci, No. 1 (four weeks), July 24, 1993

3. “Real Love,” Mary J. Blige, No. 1 (two weeks), Oct. 17, 1992

2. “Candy Rain,” Soul For Real, No. 1 (three weeks), March 11, 1995

Then….

And Now…

1. “Forever My Lady,” Jodeci, No. 1 (two weeks), Nov. 9, 1991
