*Something tells us actor Terry Crews wasn’t anticipating the pushback he’s receiving for his tweet on “Black Supremacy” that resulted from the George Floyd protests happening worldwide.
Here’s the tweet that got folks all riled up:
“Defeating White supremacy without White people creates Black supremacy. Equality is the truth. Like it or not, we are all in this together.”
First off, actress Jodie Turner-Smith basically called him a clown The “Queen & Slim” star, 33, quote-retweeted Crews’ original tweet, with a photo of a woman wearing a clown mask with the quote, “Did you get the nose? Did you get the horn? Is your car any smaller?” In essence, like we said, she called him a clown.

And then there’s Tyler James Williams, who starred with Crews in “Everybody Hates Chris.” He was one of the first to condemn the actor’s tweet, writing:
“Terry, brother, I know your heart and you know I have love for you and always will. No one is calling 4 black supremacy & the narrative that we are hurts our cause & our people.
“We’re just vigorously vetting our ‘allies’ because time & time again they have failed us in the past.”

Crews replied to Williams, saying: “I understand, Tyler. I was not saying Black supremacy exists, because it doesn’t.
“I am saying if both Black and Whites don’t continue to work together– bad attitudes and resentments can create a dangerous self-righteousness. That’s all.”
Jodie Turner-Smith and Tyler James Williams weren’t the only celebs to speak out and confront Crews. He also heard from and responded to Kevin Powell, actor Orlando Jones and funny man Godfrey among others.
