Netflix Pride Presented by The Most

Netflix Pride

*Why: LGBTQ+ communities across the country are reflecting on the meaning of Pride this year.

Against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement, they are mobilizing in solidarity with the Black community to continue the fight for racial and social justice.

At the same time, LGBTQ+ nonprofits and creatives are losing key sources of income due to the global pandemic. Netflix is eager to recognize the unique challenges of these LGBTQ+ non profits while also amplifying the resiliency and strength inherent in the community.

What: Netflix Pride will be digitally programmed moments of reflection, moments to celebrate queer artists and performers, and dialogue to inspire change and action. Viewers can expect to hear from Laverne Cox, Janet Mock, Hannah Gadsby, Ryan O’Connell, Jerry Harris, The Fab 5, Wilson Cruz, with a closing performance from Chaka Khan. Full line up announcement attached and posted on The Most’s Instagram and Twitter.

Where: Netflix Pride will be broadcast simultaneously through Netflix’s YouTube, plus The Most on IGTV and Tik Tok.

When: Tuesday June 30th, at 4pm PT.

Partners: the digital event is in support of OutRight, Trans Justice Funding Project and the Marsha P Johnson Foundation
