‘Imagination Lunchbox International Children’s Film Fest’ via Zoom Video Conferencing August 8th

*The 4th annual “Imagination Lunchbox International Children’s Film Fest” (ILICFF) scheduled to be held Saturday August 8, 2020 from 1-3pmET at the Eubie Blake Center (847 N. Howard Street, 21201) will go online via Zoom Video Conferencing to address current health-pandemic venue requirements.

The “ILICFF” event will screen short films made by youth and for youth from 10 different countries – India, United States, Taiwan, Hungary, Germany, Australia, Spain United Kingdom, Spain and Japan. It is presented by the Eubie Blake Center and is. hosted by “ILICFF” Founder Anthony Michael Hobbs (www.Anthony-Michael.com) and Magic 95.9FM’s Ms. D (Doresa Harvey).

The “ILICFF” event is free and held in partnership with Imagination Lunchbox, LLC, the Eubie Blake Center, and The Baltimore Times’ Foundation, Times Community Services. Four winners will be selected that day – “Best Film Made BY Youth” Award; “Best Film Made FOR Youth” Award; “Film Festival Favorite” Award, and sponsored by the “Uplifting Minds II” Entertainment Conference – the “Most Uplifting Film” Award.

Anthony Michael Hobbs’ company, Imagination Lunchbox, LLC, which produces the “ILICFF” event, has produced three award winning short films thus far – One Nation, Naga Pixie and Agent Hollywood. Hobbs stars in all three and personally wrote and directed two of the three (One Nation and Naga Pixie). As an actor Anthony has garnered over eight awards and his credits include Emmy nominated mini-series “The Abolitionist” and DreamWorks “How to Train Your Dragon: Dragons and Dinosaurs” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bekKOmfsWfc).  In 2013 at the age of seven he represented the PBS Network at the Emmy Awards for his role in “The Abolitionist” as a young Frederick Douglass in (https://video.pbs.org/video/2321796209). A model also, Hobbs has worked on the national campaigns for such companies as Finish Line Athletics and Villa Sportswear. Anthony has starred in many commercials and television segments, which are still running, for Comcast Xfinity, Sprout Network, United Way and Claritin Kids Allergy.
