Brandon Parks Joins BPC … the Largest African American Owned Fundraising Firm

*New York – Bridge Philanthropic Consulting (BPC), the largest African American owned fundraising firm has made some new editions to its team of experts.  Joining the team is Brandon Parkes as Executive Consultant

The New York-based firm was founded by Dwayne Ashley who is the Chief Executive Officer. Ashley has led BPC to raise over $800 million for his past employers and impressive client roster which includes, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, United Negro College Fund, 100 Black Men of America, Louis Armstrong Foundation, Usher New Look, Steve Harvey Foundation, Madonna and the United Way of Texas Gulf Coast, Friends of Harlem Hospital, Mt. Zion Female Union Band Historic Cemeteries, MMTC, National Black Voter Civic Participation, to name a few.

BPC recently launched a new service, BPC Insights which is a customized approach to consulting for small nonprofits at an accessible rate.

Brandon  Parkes recently served as the Nonprofit Engagement Manager at CariClub, an AI tech company that connects young professionals to leadership roles on nonprofit boards. Through this role, he supported over 350 organizations such as Teach for America, UNICEF, Make a Wish, and Museum of Modern Arts in capacity building initiatives. Previously, he has worked in development for an international humanitarian nonprofit, Right To Play, helping to secure over a million dollars in funding annually. He has formerly worked in a corporate philanthropic capacity for companies such as Morgan Stanley and Toyota. Through these professional titles, he has gained experience supporting effective philanthropic strategy that increases social impact, external/internal engagement and nonprofit capacity building. He has been humbled to be named one of CauseArtists’s “20 Inspiring African Americans Impacting the World Through Social Impact & Social Innovation”, named one of Startup Boost’s NYC 33 under 33, and has been featured in several publications such as Nonprofit Technology News, Blacks in Technology, Blavity and WhyWeGive. In his personal life, he is a Mentor for young social entrepreneurs through The Resolution Project, an incoming member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals-NYC Emerging Leaders Committee and an avid volunteer in NYC.
