*While football fans were focused on the Kansas City Chiefs vs San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl battle, Rachel Dolezal was attempting to spark discussion online about cooking.

As reported by popculture.com, the former NAACP president posted a selfie on Twitter on Sunday, showing her standing in the kitchen. She asks followers if anyone is spending the afternoon cooking and she was met with some mixed comments, many of them critical.

“No just pretending to be a different race. You know how it be,” one user commented.

Dolezal previously drew criticism after claiming to be transracial, a white woman who identifies as Black.

Several Twitter referenced her identity crisis while commenting on her tweet.

“Aren’t you the person who is white and thinks she’s black?” one person asked.

But several Black males made time to praise her for simply existing.

“happy black history month African QUEEN,” a user added to the conversation.

Another wrote, “happy black history month Nubian queen.”

“It’s a whole white woman, what are you talking about!,” a user replied.

User @daddychoc added, “Lovely, make me a plate of neckbones, mixed greens, mac & cheese, potato salad, cornbread and a jelly jar of red Koolaid… and a slice of sweet potato pie for dessert thanks, sexy mama.”

One follower noted, “I spent the evening watching your doc on Netflix. your artwork is amazing. I didn’t know much about you before, Your sons seem like good young men . it seemed to me like you were trying to do good things.”

While most of the comments were critical, there were some who wanted to talk about food, asking Dolezal if she was making macaroni and cheese, while one follower advised her to “wear a hairnet for that weave” while cooking.
