*What does it feel like to be immortalized?
Sterling K. Brown is introduced into the most anticipated animated franchise, “Frozen 2,” as Lieutenant Destin Matthias.
EUR correspondent, Carla Renata (The Curvy Critic) sat down with Brown and co-star Evan Rachel Wood (Queen Iduna, mother of Elsa and Anna) for an exclusive chat about the Disney hit, immortalization and traditions.
What does it feel like to have your image immortalized for posterity and a doll in your likeness?
“It’s kind of silly,” exclaimed Sterling! “I remember seeing other friends that had done animated films, taking my kids to Target, sending them screenshots and now it’s happening for me. I don’t know. I get giddy. I can’t talk.”
Wood with an even bigger grin shared, “my face hurts from smiling.”
Naturally, the past is a large part of “Frozen 2” and begs the question of what in your past is something you wish you could forget?
“Oh My God, so many things,” cracked the actress.
While Brown had a more philosophical take on the subject.
“I feel like everything that has happened, good, bad and ugly has contributed to where I am right now.”
The holidays are right around the corner, so we want to know what classic film brings joy and creates future family traditions with their kids?
“‘A Christmas Story’…triple dog dare – you can’t go wrong with that, ” expressed Brown. Wood took us all the way back sharing her love for Boris Karloff’s animated version of the Dr. Seuss Christmas classic “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”
Even though we are not blessed to hear the vocal styling’s of these two co-stars, there are plenty of holiday classics to be found in this scintillating sequel. Parents should be prepared to “Let It Go” when little ones beg to spend just a little more time with their favorite Disney Princesses when “Frozen 2” is released on November 22.
