Snoop Dogg Slams Facebook and Instagram for Banning Louis Farrakhan

Snoop Dogg, Louis Farrakhan

*Snoop Dogg has slammed Facebook’s decision to ban controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan from the platform for being a “dangerous individual.”

As we previously reported, Farrakhan was also booted from Instagram for the same reason, and he’s not alone. Conservative bloggers Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, Laura Loomer, Paul Joseph Watson and a slew of others were also removed from the platforms.

One person who isn’t happy with FB’s decision is Farrakhan’s pal Snoop. Hours after the announcement, the hip-hop veteran took to IG and posted a video calling out the social media sites for kicking the minister to the curb.

“So Facebook and Instagram just banned Louis Farrakhan, I want to know for what?” Snoop asked. “All he ever do was to tell the truth. But y’all gonna ban him though.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center cited Farrakhan as “deeply racist, anti-Semitic and anti-LGBT.”

“What if we ban y’all? What if we stop f*ckin’ with y’all Facebook and Instagram? How the f*ck you gonna ban Minister Louis Farrakhan for putting truth out there?,” Snoop continued.

“I stand with him…ban me muthaf*cka. Ban me. I’ma keep posting his shit. I’ma keep putting Louis Farrakhan out there. That’s my dear brother. F*ck y’all that got a problem with him.”

Watch him pop off via the Instagram video embed below.

Meanwhile, Facebook explained its decision via a statement:

“We’ve always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology. The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today.”
