*Rihanna has set the record straight about rumors claiming she’s going to play Poison Ivy in an upcoming Batman movie.

The singer and fashion mogul dished with reporters about the chatter during her 5th Annual Diamond Ball in New York City on Thursday. Rumors about RiRi’s Batman connection were stirred up on Sunday when she shared a video of her black leather-rubber boot and compared it to the Batmobile.

“Bat-mobile, but make it fashion!” Rihanna captioned the Instagram clip (see below). “Get into this matte leather-rubber fusion tho. @fenty.”

That was enough to get fans worked up over the idea of her joining the Batman/DC universe.

When asked if she hinted online at joining the Barman franchise, Rihanna responded, “Wait did I hint anything?”

“Oh that?! Really? That!? Are you serious?” she added, noting the rubber-boot clip, “No that has nothing to do with Poison Ivy.”

Although, she did reveal her “obsession with Poison Ivy” once motivated her to dye “my hair red because of Uma Thurman” in the original “Poison Ivy” film.

Rihanna says if she does get a call about playing the iconic comics character, she would “love to go in and try out because Poison Ivy is one of my obsessions in life,” she shared. “I did it for Halloween one year, I mean come on!”

Meanwhile, Rihanna sparked pregnancy rumors at the Diamond Ball when she appeared on stage with a bloated belly (see clip above) and told a reporter she was “going to give birth to a Black woman.”

“I’m a black woman. I come from a black woman who came from a black woman who came from a black woman and I’m going to give birth to a black woman,” she told Essence in a now viral interview (see clip below). “That’s who I am. It’s the core of who I am in spirit and in DNA. And I always stand up for what I believe in and who I love and who I know, who I respect.”

But according to TMZ… Rihanna insiders claim she ain’t pregnant.
