*This week on “Growing Up Hip Hop: New York,” DJ Siaani opens up about the doubt she has with her DJ’ing future.
In our exclusive clip above, Sianni details what went down during her audition for famed DJ Kid Capri, which was set up by talent manager Medina.
“He dead-ass stopped me in the middle of my set,” she explains to her mother Charli Baltimore. The scene quickly turns to Kid Capri, showing him stop Siaani because she’s “all over the place.”
Charlie makes clear that she would not have allowed her daughter to meet with Capri until she was confident Siaani was thoroughly ready to impress.

“An audition with Kid Capri is a big deal,” Charlie says in the clip above. “He’s definitely a legend. He definitely knows his sh*t. I think it was a mistake for Medina not to know whether Sianni was properly prepared or not.”
