*Here’s the deal. Bobby Brown did NOT get hit by a car and was not hospitalized. This, according to his attorney. If that’s correct, then Bobby’s sister LIED.
When we first heard that Bobby’s sister Leolah Brown Muhammad was behind the (fake) story, we had our suspicions, as she’s been documented telling some big ones in the past, but we – like other outlets – went with it when we shouldn’t have.
In any event, according to The Blast, the attorney’s clarification comes after Brown’s sister, Leolah, posted a message on social media claiming the singer was smashed by a hit and run driver, and that he was seriously injured.

Attorney Christopher Brown‘s statement:
“There are reports circulating that Bobby Brown was hit by a car over the weekend and substantially injured both his legs. The reports are false and Bobby Brown was in Los Angeles enjoying time with his family this weekend.”
He continues, “Mr. Brown was not struck by a vehicle over the weekend and statements from Leolah Brown to the contrary are fake news.”
On top of that, the attorney says Bobby Brown is in great shape and adds that: “RBRM (Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky & Mike) are preparing to tour Japan and Australia in October 2019 and Bobby Brown will be looking to reconnect with his fans in those countries.”

“Yes Bobby Brown got hit by a SPEEDING car WHILE WALKING! And NO he was NOT in a car accident! This car CAME STRAIGHT FOR HIM & TRIED TO DAM KILL HIM! Broke his bones! BOTH his legs are messed up! And whoevers [sic] saying he was inside of a car IS A DAM LIAR! My brother was WALKING down the street AND A CAR CAME STRAIGHT FOR HIM!!! AND HIT HIM TO KILL HIM!! THEY REPORT EVERY DAM THING ELSE HE’S EVER DONE IN HIS DAM LIFE! SO WHY DID NOT ANYONE INCLUDING HIS SO CALLED WIFE GO TO THE PRESS WITH THAT ONE!!?? WHY DID YOU NOT WANT THAT TO LEAK OUT!!?? So yes, a lot of folks are scratching their heads over this. WHY in the world would Leolah do such a heinous and damaging thing to her own brother?
Unfortunately, as we alluded to up top, she’s pulled a-hole moves like this before. The Blast also notes, “Bobby’s sister has been a problem in the past, and caused tension at both Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina’s funeral after Leolah claimed she walked out due to the messages given by Pat Houston. Pat is the executor of Whitney’s estate.”
