*Toronto Raptors fans were tyreated to a championship parade on Monday and a guy, who we can only assume is a not only a Raptors booster, but a Kawhi Leonard fan, got in on the action in a very personal way … by pretending to be the Raptors star.
Apparatly it was real, real easy to fool the Raptors fans (and we won’t go into the stereotypical racial aspect of why) ’cause all he had to do to pull it off was braid his hair like Leonard’s and wear the NBA Finals MVP’s jersey (#32). And just like that he was posing merrily with Raptors fans for snaps and even signed autographs.
Mind you, the imposter didn’t get away completely clean, ’cause a lot folks weren’t fooled and went alonjg with it, but a lot of people were clearly clueless.

We’re just wondering why some folks wouldn’t have thought it stranger for Kawhi Leonard of all folks to be walking around instead of riding on the team’s float in the official parade? He’s also not known for being all that outgoing. He’s no “Mr. Personality.” Also, didn’t anyone notice that the guy signing the autographs and basking in the attention he was getting, is a whole lot TALLER than the Raptors’ superstar? Obviously not.
But, hey, when your team, city and nation wins its first NBA title in history, ain’t nothin’ wrong with showing a fake star player some love.
