*Dame Dash’s legal woes seem to keep piling up.
We previously reported about the financial drama with his baby mamas, now the Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder has been slapped with a $50 million dollar lawsuit by photographer Monique Bunn, who is accusing him of sexual assault.
Bunn filed a lawsuit against Dash, his fiancée Raquel Horn, as well as his companies Damon Dash Studios and Poppington LLC, The Blast reports. She claims Dash touched her inappropriately after a photoshoot for his fashion company, Poppington, in April. According to the lawsuit, after the first day of shooting, Bunn spent the night at the residence he shares with Horn. In her complaint, she details how Dame sexually assaulted her while she was asleep.

“While Bunn was sleeping, Dash approached Bunn and placed his hand on Bunn’s breasts and placed hands/fingers on Bunn’s buttocks. Dash did not have the permission or consent to touch Bunn’s sexual organs,” the docs allege. “Dash was wearing a robe and had no underwear on. Dash had been drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana all day.”
Per the complaint, “Bunn was able to get Dash’s hands off her breasts and buttocks” and he left the room where Bunn remained but she“did not sleep that evening.”
Bunn recalls being “angry and frustrated by Dash’s offensive and unwanted touching.” She also he attempted to keep her quiet about the incident by lying about a deal he had with WE tv to shoot a docuseries on her.
“The reality of the situation is that Dash did not have a deal with WETV associated with Bunn and only wanted to keep Bunn silent about the events of April 18, 2019,” the court docs state.
Bunn says Dash and Horn refuse to return her personal photography equipment and hard drives that contain “over twenty (20) years of hip-hop culture photography and other items.”
“The Defendants have stolen photographs of Mary J. Blige, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Mase, Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley, Lil Kim, The Fugees, Missy Elliot, Xscape, Lenny Kravitz, Lyor Cohen, Russell Simmons, Lauren Hill, KRS One, Outkast, LL Cool J, Q-Tip, The Beatles and President George Bush (during his military career) and many others,” the lawsuit reads.
Bunn’s attorney, Christopher Brown, told The Wrap in a statement: “Ms. Bunn looks forward to having a jury decide the litigation.”
Bunn is seeking $50 million in damages and the return of her photography equipment.
