Bob Johnson Says NONE of the 18 Democrats Running Against Donald Trump Can Beat Him! – WATCH

*The last time we looked, the Democratic presidential field had at least 18 people vying to be the one chosen to take on Donald Trump in November 2020.

However, during his appearance on CNBC on Friday (11-29-19) Bob Johnson, the founder of BET, said he wouldn’t put his money on none of ’em!

“If you take a snapshot today, I don’t think that group is capable of beating Trump despite what the polls say.”

Johnson’s statement comes in spite of a recent poll from ABC News and the Washington Post highlighted five Democratic candidates (former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana) that point out the fact that they are all  ahead of Donald Trump by between 9 and 17 percentage points.

But we digress because he also said …

“I think the president has always been in a position where it’s his to lose based on his bringing a sort of disruptive force into what would be called political norms.”

He added that Donald Trump “dominates the news cycle,” which is another reason he said he believes Trump has the advantage.

Johnson, who’s a longtime Democrat, made these recent comments about Trump after he praising the President last July for boosting the economy.

“I think the economy is doing great, and it’s reaching populations that heretofore had very bad problems in terms of jobs and employment and the opportunities that come with employment … so African-American unemployment is at its lowest level.

“I give the president a lot of credit for moving the economy in a positive direction that’s benefiting a large amount of Americans. I think the tax cuts clearly helped stimulate the economy. I think business people have more confidence in the way the economy is going….overall, if you look at the U.S. economy … you got to give the president an A+ for that.”

In his July comments, he also said that he didn’t have a specific candidate he was rooting for, stating that Democrats have moved too far to the left.

“For that reason, I don’t have a particular candidate (I’m supporting) in the party at this time. I think at the end of the day, if a Democrat is going to beat Trump, then that person, he or she, will have to move to the center and you can’t wait too long to do that.”
