*Barbara Streisand, based on her now public thoughts about Michael Jackson, has got some weird thoughts going on her head. At least as far as Jackson is concerned.
You see, she straight up believes Michael Jackson was a child molester, but she also believes his victims got a bonus and the sexual attacks didn’t kill them. Yes, you read that correctly. It’s all from a new interview she just did.
The Streisand interview happened on Fridayin the UK by The Times of London. In it, she came out with several bizarre thoughts about MiJac and the 2 accusers featured in “Leaving Neverland” — Wade Robson and James Safechuck.
Streisand was seemingly sympathetic to the late entertainer by saying …
“His sexual needs were his sexual needs, coming from whatever childhood he has or whatever DNA he has.”
Additionally, Streisand believes Robson and Safechuck were actually molested by Jackson. She added the HBO documentary was painful to watch. Withn that in mind, she dismissed the horror of child molestation.
“You can say molested, but those children, as you heard them say [in the documentary] they were thrilled to be there. They both married and they both have children, so it didn’t kill them.”

Wait. The legendary singer has more to say.
“I feel bad for the children. I feel bad for him. I blame, I guess, the parents who would allow their children to sleep with him. Why would Michael need these little children dressed like him and in the shows and the dancing and the hats?”
On another note, Streisand says Jackson once asked her to do a duet, “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” but apparently she wasn’t feeling the idea and said no to the proposal.
And now that you have the back story, here’s the reaction to Streisand. And it ain’t good.

There’s more! Now, Streisand is responding to the backlash. On Saturday, in a statement to ET, Streisand clarified her comments and expressed sympathy for Robson and Safechuck.
“To be crystal clear, there is no situation or circumstance where it is OK for the innocence of children to be taken advantage of by anyone,” she said. “The stories these two young men shared were painful to hear, and I feel nothing but sympathy for them.”
“The single most important role of being a parent is to protect their children. It’s clear that the parents of the two young men were also victimized and seduced by fame and fantasy,” she added.
