*(Los Angeles, CA – In case you haven’t already had the pleasure, meet American actress/comedian Jackie S. Garcia. Jackie was born in Victoria, Texas to her Costa Rican mother, Christine Loa, and was raised in Upland CA. As a child Jackie loved to entertain; she did many school and neighborhood plays and also sang in church choirs. Unfortunately, Jackie’s mother passed away in 2010 from brain cancer.
The only things she had left were the memories and the promise she made to her mother that she would never give up her dream of becoming a Hollywood actress. A few years later, Jackie decided to turn that pain into laughter and started doing stand up comedy. Jackie is a very funny, natural comedian, gifted in a quirky style with a unique delivery. She moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to follow her dream of becoming a Stand Up Comedian/Actress. It was always fate for Jackie to continue acting and entertaining when she was booked for Howard Stern’s sitcom “Son of the Beach.” From there she was featured in Pamela Anderson’s sitcom “V.I.P.” and won first place singing a Linda Ronstadt song on Estrella TV “El Show De Don Cheto.”
Jackie Garcia is one of the most hard-working, upcoming comedic actresses who also writes and produces her own material. She studied comedy at the Groundlings, and The Second City Hollywood and The Meisner Center with Martin Barter. Now she is performing stand up comedy and touring in Improvs, The Comedy Store in Hollywood, The Jon Lovitz at Universal Studios, The V Theater at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas NV, just to name a few.
In 2018 Jackie was cast in “Granddaddy Daycare” by Universal 1440 starring opposite George Wendt, Danny Trejo and Julia Duffy in the role of Security Guard Jenny Craig and featured in a “Gucci Guilty” commercial opposite Jared Leto and Lana Del Rey.
The Saga continues for Jackie as she was cast as PRINCESA, a silly voluptuous lady of the night in the new horror sequel from Lionsgate and Saban Films DEVIL’S REJECTS “3 From Hell,” written & directed by Rob Zombie. The L.A. premiere is Monday, Sept 16, 2019, at the Vista Theater. The address is 4473 Sunset Dr. LA. The red carpet event begins at 6:30 p.m. The filmmakers and cast members will be in attendance.
