*R&B legend Bobby Brown is looking happier and healthier after reportedly losing close to 100 pounds.

Brown flaunted his trimmer body last year ahead of the Essence Festival. At the time, he appeared to be living his best life in a photo with his wife Alicia Etherige. The two reportedly met at a dance party back when Bobby was 18. Brown popped the question in 2010 and they married in 2012. The couple welcomed their third child in July 2016.

Brown, who turned 50 in February, credits his wife for getting him right together during his battle drug addiction. The singer reportedly blew up to almost 300 pounds in 2016, when he was struggling with the death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina. The massive weight also caused him to suffer through some serious health problems.

In 2017, Bobby was rushed to the hospital for “intestinal” problems and MTO reports that his blood pressure and cholesterol were also high.

But Brown was determined to take his health serious. So with the support of his wife, he embarked on an ongoing weight loss journey that includes daily workouts and eating a healthy organic diet.

Last October, Bobby shared this image of himself from a live show, and it proves that he’s been dedicated to living a cleaner life — see below.
