*Lately we’ve begun to think of Tim Norman (“Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s”) as more of a bad boy as opposed to a businessman. Hell, some might even think of him as a straight up thug after his latest incident.
Norman has been charged with assault after he allegedly punched a former employee and the police investigation involved questioning his ex-girlfriend, “Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams, according to The Blast.
The report says that on April 19, Norman was charged by the District Attorney of Harris County, Texas with misdemeanor assault. Police say that Norman punched Horace Hodges, who was a chef at Sweetie Pie’s, in the face.
Hodges claimed to have been talking to Norman about paychecks for the other employees, which allegedly escalated to the point where Norman became angry and punched him in the left eye.
Police spoke to Norman, 39, who strangely claimed he “knew of the incident, but did not see what happen.”

It was at that point that Harris County authorities then called Williams, who was at the restaurant on the day in question. She told police she did not see the assault, but Norman told her he punched Hodges minutes after Hodges left the scene.
The bottom line is that Hodges told police he wanted to pursue charges and the District Attorney’s Office agreed to charge Norman over the incident. So far he has not been arrested on the charge and a hearing date has not been set.
By the way, “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” run on Oprah’s OWN network is over and the series finale is scheduled for June 9.
