Waffle House Hero James Shaw Jr. Says He STILL Hasn’t Heard From White House

*At Tuesday afternoon’s White House press briefing, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the Trump administration had reached out to James Shaw Jr., the young man credited with taking down another white male terrorist who left four people dead at a Nashville-area Waffle House.

To date, Donald Trump has not commented publicly on Shaw’s heroism, most likely because he’s black and the shooter wasn’t a Muslim…. and his victims weren’t white.

“My understanding is that there has been an outreach effort to bring him here to the White House,” Sanders claimed.

But according to journalist Yashar Ali, Shaw hasn’t heard anything from the White House since the shooting took place.

Ali noted that Shaw not hearing directly from the White House doesn’t necessarily mean there hasn’t been any effort on the part of the administration. But if the POTUS is beaten to the punch by a local hockey team, well, it’s certainly not a good look.

Meanwhile, Shaw has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for the victims of the deadly Waffle House attack. He initially wanted to raise $15,000, but the site collected over $188,000 as of early Sunday morning.

“Please take the time to donate as all of the proceeds will be given to the families. Thank you again for your generosity and blessings!” according to a message from Shaw on the site.
