*Alrighty then! Congrats are in order because on Monday it was announced by Kensington Palace that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019,” the Palace announced.
The statement also said …
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
After getting engaged in November 2017, Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, wed in May, tying the knot at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. They reportedly honeymooned in Canada, later embarking on an international tour over the summer.
It’s obvious they royal couple has had a very busy first couple of months of marriage … in bed. ?
If you’re wondering , as far as succession is concerned, when their child arrives, he or she could be a future king or queen — although it’s really unlikely. Meghan and Harry’s kid will be 11th in line to the U.K. throne
Prince Harry and Meghan are currently in Sydney, Australia, as part of their 16-day journey that also includes visits to Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
