the real - the real crew (11-30-18)

*On Friday, Nov. 30, the ladies of The Real observe Fri-Yay! with yummy snacks, festive cocktails, and a discussion about how some recently divorced individuals are celebrating their newfound independence by creating gift registries.  This topic inspires co-host Jeannie Mai to describe what her divorce party will look like if she decides to ever have one.

Then, co-host Tamera Mowry makes a huge announcement about her career plans for 2019!

Later, actor and musician Trey Songz drops by to talk about his new film Blood Brother, Jill Scott’s reaction to the song that he wrote in her honor, and his thoughts on his friend Tekashi69’s legal troubles.

Tamera Mowry-Housley: I have just decided that I’m going to join my worship team at church… I want to be…

(The Real Audience and co-hosts applaud)

Adrienne Houghton: I’ve been requesting this!

Jeannie Mai: I love your singing!

Tamera: You guys have been saying this for a really long time.

Jeannie: Yes!

Adrienne: I have.

Tamera: Worship singing, my cousin is a worship leader and my mom was a worship leader, it actually runs in my family.

Jeannie: Yeah.

Tamera: So, I am going to do that.  I would love to do that for my church.

(The Real Audience and co-hosts applaud)

Loni Love: Excellent!

Tamera: And then move on to do a Christian album. That’s something I’ve always wanted to do.

(The Real Audience and co-hosts applaud)

Adrienne: God is answering my prayers.

Jeannie: I prayed for that.

Tamera: You did?

Jeannie: Since season one.

Tamera: You guys, I can’t wait! ‘Cause I’m ready now.  I think it’s important to be actually ready spiritually here so that you can put those vibes out there.

*Flash cut*

Adrienne: Well, I just want to say one more time ‘cause God answers prayers, he certainly did mine… You just heard it here first that Tam is doing a worship album!

(The Real Audience and co-hosts applaud)

Tamera: I heard that! Thank you!

Adrienne: I’m really excited about it!

Tamera: (To Adrienne) And you know what? Guess what? You were just talking about women inspiring each other.  You inspired me. ‘Cause I remember when you said that, you had a vision, you said it on this show and, look at God, He did it.

Adrienne: He did. See that? I know that will inspire somebody out there, as well.
