*An all-new episode of WE tv’s groundbreaking docuseries “Love After Lockup” returns Friday, and follow couples as they share the emotional journey of being united for the first time after years of supervised visits.
This week viewers meet Scott and Lizzie — a couple who might be bonded through his wallet.
When Scott fears he’s Lizzie’s “trick,” he has a major meltdown that leads to their first fight.

“Scott promised me that when l got out of prison, I can get whatever I want. I can do whatever I want and he’s okay with it,” Lizzie says in our exclusive clip above. Upon her release from prison after serving 9 years, Scott takes her to a convenience store where she stocks up in junk food and scratch-off tickets.
“I love Lizzie. I’m extremely happy,” Scott says. “She wants to live like a princess. I’ve been able to give Lizzie close to $92,000 since we first met. But I ended up in debt. I’m afraid to tell her I’m broke.”
