*”Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams wants a judge to order her abusive ex-boyfriend to STAY AWAY, claiming he’s violent and using their relationship drama to seek attention.
According to TMZ, Williams was in court Monday seeking a judge for a restraining order against James “Tim” Norman. He obtained a restraining order against her last month, claiming she slashed his tires in a rage.
In her new legal docs, Jennifer says Norman is lying “purely to harass and stalk me, and possibly to drum up attention for himself and his own television show.” He stars in a reality series called “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s,” which airs on Oprah’s OWN network. They have appeared together on the show, and she even went ring shopping (see clip above).
Williams insists she did not slash Norman’s tires and she has an alibi to prove it, claiming she was at a friend’s birthday brunch.
According to her legal docs, Norman has a long history of abusing her.
Per TMZ:
She says in Sept 2016 at a Drake concert he verbally abused her and threatened to beat up a guy who was looking at her. Jennifer says Norman sent her a text message afterward, saying, “I’m not really the type of bitch n**** you obviously think I am for you to stand there next to me eyeing that sand n****.”
Jennifer says there were other violent instances and he accused her of being unfaithful. She says she ended the relationship last September, and since then he continues to harass her friends, asking them to contact her on his behalf.
She’s currently in court and her witness is reportedly fellow “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada. She filed a declaration saying Jennifer called her on December 17 and shared how she was extremely afraid of Norman because he could be very violent.
