Former Piston Star Jason Maxiell Tells Wife on TV He’s Slept with 341 Women

*Former NBA star Jason Maxiell and his reality star wife, Brandi (“Basketball Wives LA“), have been high school sweethearts for 17 years. But the couple has reached a breaking point. So when they turned to Iyanla Vanzant for a “Fix it, Jesus” session, it revealed a “disgusting” secret that resulted in further heartbreak.

Brandi and Jason, both 35, appeared on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” in an effort to save their marriage, which, according to Brandi, had been rocked by her husband’s “drinking problem,” his lying and cheating.

At the start of the episode, she believes Jason has had eight affairs during their eight-year marriage.

Iyanla asks him: “Does she know how many women you’ve slept with?”

He says she doesn’t, before revealing that the number of women he’s cheated on his wife with is actually more than 50.

Brandi calls the affairs “disgusting” before Jason, who used to play for the Detroit Pistons, later reveals that during his life, he’s slept with a total of 341 women.

When asked how he could sleep with so many, he explained: “At the time it was easy to do, to be pleasured that way. And I don’t know if I was looking for something else in it or trying to receive something else through it but I did do it.”

The couple’s episode aired this month but filming for the show took place a year ago.

In a statement to The Shade Room, Brandi said her focus now is not on being a good wife to a serial cheater, but being “the best mother” she can be.

She said: “I would like to say I’m more frustrated with him blurting out a number to the world without no regard for my feelings. Eight put a damper on our relationship and I was willing to work on it. Over 50 tore it down!

“My focus is and has been since we went on this show a year ago, to shift my ENTIRE life from being a great wife and mother into being the best mother and person I can be!

“I’m aware that my son will someday come across this video and witness what the man of his life has done to his mother and how I stood by and basically did nothing. Therefore, I have to prepare myself for that conversation with him ‘without lies’ but with compassion for my son. I’m going to use very detail of my upbringing, my illness, my marriage, my life good or bad, to raise my child to learn how to first love and respect God, himself, women & all of God’s creations.”
