*Erykah Badu is the latest artist to cram into a room for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, which features artists performing an intimate, acoustic set in a cramped office.

The singer wove stories into the delivery of her tracks “Rimshot” from her 1997 album “Baduizum,” and “Green Eyes” from 2000’s “Mama’s Gun.”

Sporting dreads and colorful makeup, Badu laid vocals over new jazz arrangements of the tunes from her tight seven-piece band.

Erykah Badu Flashback

In case you missed it, b ack in January of this year, Madame Badu took to social media with her recent police stop that turned out to be an unprofessional fan encounter.

The 46-year-old posted video in which she was pulled over by cops in Dallas, Texas.

“OK, it’s New Year’s Eve. I just got pulled over,” she says in the footage.

“And why are you pulling me over?” she asked two cops, at which point one of the officers bends down with a giant smile.

“Because I wanted to say hi!” he said, giggling.

The camera pans back over to Badu, who appears annoyed but amused.

“WTF Babylon,” she captioned the video. “Happy New Yearerzzzz!”
