50 Cent Mocks Ashanti After Singer Sells Only 24 Tickets to Back to School Concert

*Rapper 50 Cent finds it quite amusing that Ashanti had to cancel an upcoming concert at Stony Brook University after only selling 24 tickets.

According to The YBF.com, the “Foolish” singer was scheduled to perform at the university’s “Back to the Brook” concert for students, but the show was canceled due to low tickets sales. According to the university, they only sold two dozen tickets out of a total student population of 25,000+.

A student at the school tells The YBF that the concert wasn’t properly promoted and the students may not be Ashanti’s demo.

Ashanti was a last minute replacement after Teyana Taylor, who was originally booked to perform, pulled out due to “unforeseen circumstances” two weeks prior to the show.

The school issued a statement explaining that low ticket sales were the reason they decided to pull the plug on the show.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent has mocked Ashanti for selling only 24 tickets.

The “Power” star took aim at the singer on Instagram, writing:  “Ashanti show canceled after only 24 tickets sold. wait a minute, I thought I told everybody not to f**k with this fool. I want the names and social’s of everybody who bought a ticket now. LOL GET THE STRAP.”
