*Taraji P. Henson wants y’all to know that she and her fiancé, former NFL player Kelvin Hayden, are still going strong and she’s “very happy” with their relationship.
The two were first spotted getting cozy back in 2015 then there were rumors that they called it quits a year later over cheating allegations. Henson even shared with W last September that she was having trouble finding the right guy.
“I would love to [be in a relationship] but he has to see how I move and deal with it because I don’t have time to explain,” she said. “I’ve got work to do.”

But just recently, the photo below of Henson and Hayden appeared on The Shaderoom:

And in a new interview with Essence’s Yes, Girl! podcast, the “Empire” star confirmed that she and Hayden are still together and he makes her very happy.
“I’m happy in my personal life,” she said. “Finally it has happened to me!”
34-year-old Hayden is the father of two and a former NFL cornerback from Chicago. He was drafted in 2005 and was part of the 2007 Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts. He finished his career with the Chicago Bears in 2014.
“It was all over The Shaderoom anyway,” Henson told Essence of her relationship with Hayden. “You know, I’m not the type to blast my personal business, but you know, I think that it’s important for people to know that I’m happy. I’m very very happy. I just am. We’ve been together for two years. And no one would really know that because I don’t blast my info like that but I’m very happy.”
Adding to her happiness is her new puppy K Ball, who as it turns out, was given to her by Kelvin.
