‘Iyanla Vanzant: Fix My Life’ Returns with a New Season of Drama April 15


*A new season of Iyanla: Fix My Life” returns to OWN Saturday, April 15, and it kicks off with Iyanla in Atlanta visiting former reality stars Neffeteria “Neffe” Pugh and Shelby “Soullow” Lowery.

The couple are living in a hotel and on the brink of divorce. Overwhelmed by financial obligations, his troubled marriage and recovering from a heart attack, Iyanla helps Shelby find the courage to confront Neffe about her alcohol abuse and combative ways in hopes of building a solid future.

In another episode, Iyanla visits the former front-man of R&B group 3T and nephew of the late pop superstar Michael Jackson, Taryll Jackson, to get to the bottom of the issues causing tension in his relationship with the mother of his children and girlfriend of 10 years. Later in the season, former “Basketball Wives” star Laura Govan comes to Iyanla for healing.

The series is taking over Saturday nights on the Oprah Winfrey Network in April, along with the new arrival of the new series “The Book of John Gray.” OWN released both a press release and a preview for its Saturday night lineup, saying:

“OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today its new Saturday night programming lineup beginning April 15, including the return of the three-time NAACP Image Award-winning series “Iyanla: Fix My Life” featuring six-time New York Times bestselling author and spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant and the new original docu-series “The Book of John Gray” featuring associate pastor at Joel Osteen’s world-famous Lakewood Church, John Gray and his wife Aventer. “Iyanla: Fix My Life” will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT followed by “The Book of John Gray” at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
