*Kerry Washington and the entire cast of “Scandal united at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Sunday (03-26-17) for the Scandal PaleyFest panel and audience Q&A moderated by” Good Morning America’s” special contributor Jesse Palmer.

After last week’s shocking episode of Huck (Guillermo Diaz) bleeding out on the floor after being shot three times by Meg, “Scandal” viewers were anxious to be the first to see the fate of Huck as they made their way inside of the theater. However, Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes decided to keep that under wraps until this Thursday (03-30-17) and treated the theater audience with a screening of the pilot episode instead.

Not too long after the start of the panel, Kerry Washington was led to tears as her co star Tony Goldwyn praised her for being the best team captain.

“One of the reasons we’ve been able to maintain this sense of family is the women sitting to my right, Goldwyn said. She’s the greatest team captain you could ever want and she takes the role so seriously and with so much humility, enthusiasm and energy.”

Meanwhile, moderator Jesse Palmer asked the cast if they have a favorite memory on the show and Kerry decided to share a memory from her personal life in which she says “It’s something I never do.”

“I just will never forget the first time these ‘Scandal’ ladies came to visit me after the birth of my first child,” Washington said the crowd erupted in cheers. “I have a very vivid memory of it in my home of all of us sitting on the bed together talking about it, so that was special.”

Lastly, the cast was asked how much longer can “Scandal” go on and Joe Morton who plays Rowan Popeanswered, “I think it goes as long as you [audience] want it to go.”

“Scandal’s” 100th episode airs on April 13 and has already been renewed for a seventh season.

Season six’s episode eight continues Thursday (03-30-17) on ABC at 9/8c.
