*Kelly Rowland had to endure a messy situation when fur protesters snuck up on her at a book signing in by pretending to be fans. But then they did a switcheroo and started chanting that she has blood on her hands.
It happened Wednesday night (04-12-17) in New Jersey when Kelly was signing copies of her new-mom guide, “Whoa, Baby!,” at a bookstore in Ridgewood when ish went left.
The protesters played it cool, asking for a photo with Kelly — and that’s when they unraveled their anti-fur posters, some of which were personalized for Rowland.
Speaking of playing it cool, that’s what Kelly did, too: she stood off to the side as the protesters did their thing, and never engaged them in debate. Cops were not called, and they eventually were ushered out, according to TMZ.

*Kelly Rowland, the mother of two-year-old son Titan, has released her first book entitled Whoa, Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened).
The singer teamed with her personal OB-GYN, Dr. Tristan Emily Bickman, to co-author the guide.
“Dr. Bickman and I wanted to create an answer to what to expect after childbirth. No one told me what to expect physically, emotionally, or mentally,” explains Rowland. “The purpose of Whoa, Baby! is to comfort the mother and give her knowledge of what’s going on with her. We cover everything!” In addition to the release of her debut book, the singer will be sharing news on her soon to-be-launched beauty brand, F.A.C.E: For All Created Equal, as well as plans for upcoming new music.
“Whoa Baby!” is available for purchase in most bookstores and online retailers including Barnes & Nobles and Amazon.
The singer will be appearing at Barnes & Nobles in Tribeca, NYC tonight (Apr. 11) at 6 p.m. ET, for an author discussion and book signing.
