*Actor Brandon T. Jackson supports the decision of Nick Cannon to leave NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” and therefore, would never even consider replacing him if asked by the network.
As previously reported, Marlon Wayans, Tone Bell and Brandon Mychal Smith are supposedly in the running to replace Cannon after he quit the show over the network bristling at one of his racial jokes in his new Showtime standup special.
TMZ hit up the “Percy Jackson” star as he was leaving La Scala in Beverly Hills on Tuesday and asked him point blank if he would replace Cannon if asked.
“Nah, that looks corny. You look like the dude that took the other dude’s job because he stood up for something he believed in. …That’s that Sambo stuff. I’m not Ben Carson, I tell you that,” Jackson said.
