*United Airlines opened itself up for mass dragging after news broke that it turned away two passengers using “buddy passes” because they were wearing leggings – a violation of the buddy pass dress code.
Among those poking fun at this absurdity was rival airline Delta, who took to Twitter with: “Flying Delta means comfort. (That means you can wear your leggings.).”

Leggings-gate was first reported by Shannon Watts on Twitter who noticed two young girls being banned from boarding due to their attire.
Although the incident went viral and caused uproar, United stood by its decision, saying because the girls were using “buddy passes,” they were representing the airline when they fly — like employees.
The incident even caught Chrissy Teigen’s attention, who vowed to go topless next time she flies with United.
“I have flown united before with literally no pants on. Just a top as a dress. Next time I will wear only jeans and a scarf,” she tweeted.

Fox News wrote a story about Teigen’s reaction, only to get roasted by the model for tagging her.
