*Looks like somebody else wants to bend it like Beckham and would you believe he’s a Beckham, too?
The Beckham we’re alluding to Terron Beckham. His cousin is the more famous (NFL) Odell Beckham. Odell Beckham Jr. to be exact.
The NY Daily News says that for the past few months, Terron – a Queens based personal trainer – has putting time in at TEST Sports Clubs in Martinsville, N.J., in hopes of making an improbable leap to the NFL.
What makes it improbable that he never played college football and the last time he even played the game was in high school.

But hey, a guy can hope, right? Here’s the deal. Next week, during the NFL Scouting Combine in in Indianapolis, Terron will be showing off his would be talents at a separate Combine for shall we say, lesser known prospects. And according to TEST’s Kevin Dunn, he’ll participate in TEST’s Pro Day in March.
Naturally almost nobody in the scouting world knows anything about dude, but it’s not like he’s lacking for attention. He’s been using social media to show the world that he’s definitely got athletic skills. In one video, he does 42 reps with 225 pounds on the bench press. Another one shows him leaping onto a box with 225 pounds on his back. He’s deadlifted 585 pounds in one video, squatted 495 pounds with ease in another.
That’s all well and good, but can he run the ball and compete on the NFL level, that’s the bottom line question that waiting to be answered.
