*The fire department dispatch calls related to Kanye West’s hospitalization on Monday reveal more details surrounding the rapper’s symptoms as paramedics arrived.
According to the calls posted Tuesday by TMZ, a dispatcher is heard calling the situation a “psychiatric emergency.”
As previously reported, paramedics were called to the home of Ye’s trainer, Harley Pasternak, and arrived on scene at about 1:20 p.m. Someone at the home called 911, saying the artist was acting “erratically.” He was eventually handcuffed to a stretcher and rushed to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, rushed back to Los Angeles Monday night from New York City, where she was due to attend the Angel Ball in her first public appearance since being robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
The event, held annually to raise money for the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, was honoring her late father Robert Kardashian, who died from esophageal cancer in 2003.
Paps caught Kim deplaning at LAX while her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, joined their mother Kris Jenner to accept the Angel Ball honor.

The easy thing to do is make Kanye West jokes.
The compassionate thing to do is hope he’s ok and gets the help he needs.— andy lassner (@andylassner) November 22, 2016
