The Hype Magazine Adds Television to its Arsenal

1142*Big News! THE Real Hip Hop Network (@rhn_tv) and print publication The Hype Magazine (@TheHypeMagazine), JOIN FORCES TO  create a new television media partnership with YOUTOO AMERICA. YOUTOO AMERICA is a national cable TV Channel with over 30 MM subscribers.

Real Hip-Hop Network and The Hype Magazine are co-producing a 2-hour block of Programming every SATURDAY FROM 8:00 PM TO 10:00 PM. “RHN PRESENTS” airs live concerts, interviews, and behind the scenes exclusives with some of the nation’s hottest rap stars. The program goes around the country covering the most important events through features that showcase topics relevant to the core hip-hop fan.

Find out weekly about the latest in celebrity news, concerts, album releases, new music, and interviews from your area and around the country. RHN PRESENTS showcases hot spots you should check out from around the area and throughout the nation. Viewers will have the opportunity to win cash, prizes, and tickets the hottest concerts and events throughout the country.

The Real Hip Hop Network is the first 24-hour cable channel geared towards real hip-hop lifestyle and culture. RHN is a digital media and entertainment company that captures the essence and power of the millennial demographic through the creation of a global digital media entertainment outlet.

The unified team will reach real Hip-Hop fans via every medium of media including network TV, broadcast programming via RHN PRESENTS. RHN is distributed currently in the United States, via ROKU, GoogleTV, Android IPTV, Web TV, Comcast, Time Warner, and mobile devices.

RHN will be the beacon for the universal culture of young people all over the globe. RHN will reach the 18-34 demographic with exciting, groundbreaking content, pulling from the four elements of hip-hop; Deejaying, Break-dancing, Emceeing, and Graffiti. RHN will take the culture higher. Hip Hop is a global phenomenon with huge international audiences. The Real Hip Hop Network represents that new independent voice.

The partnership includes co-branding between the magazine and the networks, which is unique to the entertainment community. Effectively beginning the reclamation process for urban news media outlets as relevant and efficient journalistic platforms on a global scale. Over 30 million households as its launch point, expert projections take this unified movement to the level of mega network status in short order.

Executives within the respective companies, Jameelah “Just Jay” Wilkerson and Atonn F. Muhammad indicate the partnership is the new source for all things Hip-Hop. The Real Hip-Hop Network President/CEO says, “We are combining digital media, entertainment, and television with the four original pillars of Hip-Hop. These “pillars,” represent the different segments of the culture: rap music (oral), turntablism or DJing (aural), b-boying (physical) and graffiti art (visual).” The crucial and more recent pillar, Knowledge, Culture, and Overstanding, will also be represented with programming designed to inform and educate. The all-important 5th element is the saving grace of generations to come and a call home to those who have lost their way.
