*As if we needed confirmation that the speech First Lady Michelle Obama handed down in New Hampshire; the one where she passionately, yet gracefully, unleashed her fury on the inappropriate comments made by Republican Presidential contender, Donald Trump, who she would not even call by name, came from her heart.
But we’ll take it, Desiree Rogers, because after all, having served as White House social secretary for two years, you would know.
“I think the emotion you hear in her voice. Her ability to really articulate personally what this really means to her and how this can impact this nation,” Rogers said on CNN‘s ‘New Day’ — “you’re hearing something from the heart. This is not made up. This is her.”
And I believe the American public can tell the difference, too. Mrs. Obama is always very passionate when speaking on the many causes she has taken on with regard to the health of young people, and the self-esteem of young girls.
But this was different. I heard her on the verge of angry tears. I heard her almost wanting to kick ass!
