Nicki Minaj Literally Bows Down to Lauryn Hill: ‘I’m In Love With You’ (Watch)

Nicki Minaj had a truly religious experience over the weekend in meeting her lifelong idol Lauryn Hill, a moment that was captured on video and shared through Nicki’s Instagram.

The annointing took place backstage at Jay Z’s Tidal X concert on Saturday (Oct. 15). The video shows Minaj kneeling at Hill’s feet and bowing down so low that her forehead is on the carpet.

“I’m in love with you,” she tells Hill, as the former Fugees singer blushes and reaches down to hug her. “I’m in love with your spirit, your mind, everything about you.”
