*The family of Kisha Michael the Inglewood, CA woman who was shot and killed in her car along with her companion, Marquintan Sandlin, by Inglewood police officers as both of them were unconscious in her car last week , and a coalition of civil rights leaders are calling for Inglewood Mayor James Butts to fire Inglewood Police Chief Mark Fronterotta.
Chief Fronterottta has refused numerous requests to meet with the family of the victims and community leaders. That type of leadership is irresponsible and disrespectful to the grieving families and he has essentially spit in their faces and our community by showing the family no respect after his officer’s shot and killed heir family members who were unconscious in there car.
“Mayor Butts needs to hold his Chief accountable for the way he’s disrespecting our community,” says Najee Ali director of Project Islamic Hope.
