*Geez! Imagine being in church on Sunday enjoying the choir singing and the pastor is shot and killed.
That’s the horrible situation that happened in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday (02-28-16). The victim was Reverend William B. Schooler, 70. He was shot around 12:30pm while in his office at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church, according to Dayton police.
His brother, Daniel Gregory Schooler, 68, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Montgomery County jail. He’ll face a murder charge on Monday, says Sgt. Richard Blommel.
As of this posting, police say they did not know what led to the shooting but say the pastor was the only intended victim.
