*Russell Westbrook’s immediate plans involve more than a winning season with the Oklahoma City Thunder as he gets set to marry his longtime girlfriend Nina Earl this weekend.
TMZ Sports reports the couple will get hitched Saturday (Aug. 29) in a low-key ceremony in Beverly Hills. Anyone trying to get the exact location of the ceremony will be out of luck, as the couple wants to keep that under their hat.
The upcoming nuptials come almost a year after Westbrook and Earl started planning the event. It was last September when Earl put her engagement on full blast when she posted a picture of her $700,000 ring.
Although Earl may have Westbrook’s attention this weekend, she may want to keep an eye out for the NBA star’s appreciation for another woman: Taylor Swift.
According to ESPN, Westbrook was getting his groove on to Swift’s hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back together” while seeing the singer in concert on Tuesday (Aug. 25).
This isn’t the first time the athlete has expressed his love for Swift and her music. In May, Westbrook, a known Swiftie, took to Instagram to show love to the entertainer’s Kendrick Lamar-assisted single “Bad Blood,” labeling it a “Banger.”
