*Talk about too soon.
Ludacris had to sit there and absorb a number of jokes about his deceased “Furious 7” co-star Paul Walker during Comedy Central’s roast for Justin Bieber…jokes that will reportedly be left on the editing room floor.
Using a Ludacris song title, Jeff Ross joked of Walker, who died last year in a car accident, “‘Move b*tch, get out of the way!’ is what Paul Walker should’ve told that tree. Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?”
Another roaster, Pete Davidson, said, “Just this past year, Justin got arrested for drag racing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t with Paul Walker. What? He’s doing great! He’s got a movie coming out!”
A witness close to Ludacris (real name Chris Bridges) told Page Six that the jokes “were in absolute poor taste and silenced the audience, leaving many upset guests — especially Chris, as Paul was like a brother to him, on and off screen.”
A Comedy Central rep said, “Roasts often push the limits of good taste . . . Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.”
