*The City of San Francisco to acknowledge February 13th as Sylvester Day along with the opening of “Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical.”
San Francisco Supervisor Scott Weiner, on behalf of the city of San Francisco and the Board of Supervisors will be presenting a proclamation for Mighty Real Day: Honoring Sylvester & His Music on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2pm at Sylvester’s star on the Castro Rainbow Honor Walk.
In attendance will be show creators, Anthony Wayne and Kendrell Bowman, the shows co-producer, Tony nominated actress, Sheryl Lee Ralph (DreamGirls) and the Mighty Real cast members Anastacia McClesky, Jacqueline B. Arnold, DeAnne Steward and Rahmel McDade along with Brava Executive Director, Anastacia Powers. Special invited guest will be Paul Boneberg of the GLBT Historical Society and more guests to be announced.
