Central State Communications Building Removes ‘Bill Cosby’ Name For Good

*Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio has been covering up Bill Cosby’s name on the outside of its communications center ever since dozens of women have come forward to accuse him of sexual assault.

But the historically black college announced Friday it has now permanently removed the name Camille O. & William H. Cosby Communications Center. The building has been renamed the CSU Communications Center.

The school had been temporarily covering Cosby’s name since July while it made a final decision. Central State President Cynthia Jackson-Hammond had called circumstances surrounding the comedian’s situation “troublesome and disappointing to all.”

The Cosby family has donated more than $2 million to the university.
