*Fans of Michael Jordan can now stay in his former Highland Park, Illinois, mansion, listed on Airbnb for $15,000 per night by its current owner, real estate investor John Cooper.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the seven-bedroom, 17.5-bathroom estate, renovated in 2009 and sold for $9.5 million in 2024 after being listed at $29 million in 2012, spans 7.39 acres and reflects Jordan’s Chicago Bulls legacy. Guests must sign an NDA, post a $25,000 security deposit, and limit groups to 12, with no pets or parties allowed. For extended stays, the mansion is available on Zillow for $89,000 per month, reduced from $150,000.
Adding to his off-court ventures, Jordan will join NBC Sports as a special contributor for its NBA coverage starting in October 2025, announced at NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation at Radio City Music Hall, per The Associated Press.
“I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,” Jordan said in a news release. “The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”
NBC Sports President Rick Cordella added, “Michael’s legacy both on and off the court speaks for itself. We’re incredibly proud to have him join our coverage.”

The mansion’s Airbnb debut offers a unique chance to live like the basketball legend, whose Bulls career was broadcast on NBC from 1990 to 2002, covering all six of his championships.
The network’s return to NBA coverage after over two decades aligns with Jordan’s new role, blending his storied past with fresh opportunities. This dual spotlight—on his former home and media comeback—keeps Jordan’s legacy in the limelight.
