*D. Woods has spoken out about what she describes as “troubling interactions” with disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The singer was a member of the Combs’ former girl group Danity Kane from 2005 to 2008. In an exclusive interview with Eva Pilgrim on ABC’s Good Morning America, she shared her perspective about her experiences with the Bad Boy Records founder.
“I would say that this moment now is a time where I feel like my experience, my truth will really be heard and actually considered and believed,” D. Woods said in the interview that aired Monday, ABC News reports.
“You know, he is looked at as a hero of our community, and myself included, I looked up to him too,” she said. “So a lot of people don’t want to believe that their hero can be this other person.”
According to D. Woods, Combs created a verbally abusive work environment during her time working with him.

“He did it in different ways with all of us, you know, picking and prodding and just a way to chip and knock away, but then praise you,” she said of the father of seven.
D. Woods is also speaking out about working with Combs on the Investigation Discovery (ID) documentary “The Fall of Diddy,” which aired on Jan. 27, on Investigation Discovery and streaming on Max.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, all of which he has pleaded not guilty to. The disgraced hip-hop star is currently detained at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after a judge denied him bail. He is scheduled to stand trial on May 5, 2025. If convicted, Combs faces a minimum sentence of 15 years and potentially life in prison.
