*On Tuesday, Feb. 26, Yvette Nicole Brown returns to guest co-host, and the ladies of The Real give an update on Tamera Mowry-Housley’s health and send their best wishes to their co-host while she’s under the weather.

The hosts discuss how fans of R. Kelly continue to support him despite the evidence piling up, and also talk about “Sidewalk Sally,” the woman who harassed a couple doing a photo shoot with their one-year-old baby.

And actor and comedian Deon Cole stops by to chat about his shows black-ish and grown-ish and shares how difficult it is for comedians to know what topics are safe these days, and demonstrates by telling a joke that goes “straight” over Adrienne’s ahead!

Loni Gives An Update on Tamera’s Health

Loni Love: Now, before we get into Girl Chat, we know a lot of you have been asking for an update on Tam Tam and how she’s been doing… I went to go see her yesterday and she wants everyone to know that she’s been going through it y’al, but she is OK. Now, let me go back: first she got bronchitis, and then she didn’t take enough time off, she didn’t listen to Auntie Loni, told her to take time off…

Adrienne Houghton: Yeah, she was up here with no voice!

Loni: Exactly. So from the bronch – then it turned into the flu! Which ended up turning into viral pneumonia. Now, when you have viral pneumonia, it has to heal on its own with breathing treatments, which she’s getting, rest and hydration. We took her to the ER, she’s doing fine. But she wants everyone to know that she thanks everyone for their love and their messages and their support.

Loni: And she hopes to be back with us very, very soon. But she’s doing fine – but she just needs to stay at home. She don’t need to be here with me. I got this! All right!

Jeannie: Not here!

Adrienne: People, I think they watch us do this and they’re like, “But what’s the big deal, you all just sit up there and talk.” I’m not gonna front – we was tired today! We had to give ourselves a pep talk back there, like, “Wake up. It’s gonna be ok.”

Yvette Nicole Brown: Listen, I just got off a cruise. I’m on two hours of sleep, you guys. The Walking Dead Cruise, Walking Stalking Cruise, and I am so tired. But, I’m excited because I’m here with you guys and you guys give us energy, so… thank you.

[The Real audience applauds]

Adrienne: It’s flu season.

Yvette: It is!

Adrienne: It’s going around, stay hydrated.

Loni: And that’s what she wanted me to let everybody know. That this is flu season, to take care of yourself, to get the proper rest and relaxation, but we gotcha girl, all right?
