*Simon Guobadia is continuing his legal fight against ex-wife Porsha Williams, making it clear he has no intention of letting the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star profit from his personal fortune.
Speaking to Us Weekly, the 61-year-old businessman said he has “no desire — whether in life or in death — for Porsha or her family to benefit from the wealth I’ve built through 43 years of hard work, particularly at the expense of my own children.”
Guobadia, now living in Dubai following his deportation from the U.S., made the remarks after a judge upheld the prenuptial agreement he and Williams signed before their November 2022 wedding. The decision came just weeks after Williams, 44, gave an exclusive interview to People in which she detailed their split.
Guobadia alleged, “Porsha initiated divorce proceedings in a manner I believe was entirely dishonest,” claiming her actions were “crafted for a story line — to rejoin the Bravo RHOA franchise by targeting and damaging the legacy I’ve spent 43 years building.”
He called the divorce process marked by “an unprecedented level of disrespect and dishonesty,” adding that he plans to challenge the prenup through every legal option available.

“This isn’t the first time I’ve had a prenuptial agreement,” he told Us. “In past relationships, the agreements were honored and never challenged, largely because they were approached with mutual respect and without animosity. In contrast, this situation has been marked by an unprecedented level of disrespect and dishonesty. Porsha’s actions appear designed to trigger financial provisions in the prenup by manufacturing grounds for divorce — thereby causing direct harm to my businesses, my name, and my family.”
Williams, in her own account, said she encouraged Guobadia not to travel due to his immigration issues and even hired a lawyer to assist. She said tensions escalated on Valentine’s Day when he gave her “a look that felt dark,” prompting her to file for divorce days later.
Despite their contentious split, a source told Us, “Porsha has moved on and wishes Simon the best.”
Guobadia was taken into custody by ICE after returning to the U.S. for a divorce hearing and remained in detention for several months.
After his release, he noted that he held no ill will toward Donald Trump and expressed interest in speaking with the president about immigration.
