*In a heartfelt nod to their daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday on June 4, Duchess Meghan shared a lively throwback video on Instagram, capturing a lighthearted moment from her pregnancy.
The footage, filmed on a cellphone, shows Meghan and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital room to the tune of “Baby Momma” by Starrkeisha, the stage name of YouTube star Cameron J Henderson. Meghan’s playful twerking was a last-ditch effort to induce labor when other methods like spicy food, walking, and acupuncture fell short.
“Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!” Meghan wrote in the caption.
Meghan also posted rare glimpses of Lilibet, who shares a nickname with her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The images included a tender moment of Harry gazing at his newborn daughter.
“The sweetest bond to watch unfold Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer,” Meghan captioned the photos, which also featured black-and-white shots of her holding a swaddled newborn Lilibet. True to their approach to privacy, the couple ensured their daughter’s face remained hidden.
