*In-N-Out Burger is set to expand in the coming years, with several new locations confirmed across three states in 2025.
While the chain primarily operates in the Western U.S., with restaurants in California, Arizona, and Nevada, it has gradually expanded to states like Texas, Colorado, and Utah, News Nation Now reports. Despite its slower growth compared to other fast-food brands—due to its founders’ “early philosophy” (and the burger chain does not franchise its restaurants) —In-N-Out plans to open locations in New Mexico, Washington, and Tennessee, with a new East Coast hub near Nashville. As of now, only five new openings are confirmed for 2025.
“Because of a rigorous commitment to quality and freshness, the company only builds stores that are located within a close proximity of their four in-house patty-making facilities. This ensures it will never take more than a single day’s drive for their own trucks to deliver fresh ingredients to each restaurant,” In-N-Out’s official website explains.
According to its website, the new restaurants are coming to:
- Anaheim, California — 540 N. Euclid St.
- Carson, California — 20512 Avalon Blvd.
- Sylmar, California — 13864 Foothill Blvd.
- Nampa, Idaho — 16225 N. Marketplace Dr.
- South Salt Lake, Utah — 21 E. 2100 S.
In-N-Out has announced plans for expansion in several states over the next few years. A restaurant in southern Washington was initially expected to open by 2025, while Tennessee’s first locations are set for 2026, along with a new spot on the Las Vegas Strip. New Mexico is also set to welcome its first In-N-Out by 2027.
