According to Love B. Scott, “The biggest hangup, we’re told, is Phaedra’s current contract with ‘Married to Medicine.’ As you may have seen, Phaedra appeared alongside Porsha Williams on the ‘Watch What Happens Live!’ 15th anniversary special and their chemistry won over viewers,” the outlet writes, adding, “We’re told the positive reception to the ‘Frick and Frack’ reunion is only adding to the desire for Phaedra’s return.”
Parks joined RHOA in season 3 and left the show after season 9. She returned to the franchise for the “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Ex-Wives Club,” which is streaming on Peacock. The series features former Housewives Taylor Armstrong, Brandi Glanville, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Eva Marcille, Dorinda Medley, and Jill Zarin.
Phaedra left RHOA “after Porsha Williams claimed at the season 9 reunion that Phaedra informed her of their co-star, Kandi Burruss’, desire to allegedly drug and seduce Porsha, allegations Kandi has vehemently denied,” per ET Online.
Meanwhile, we reported earlier that Porsha and Drew Sidora are returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for season 16. According to PEOPLE, author/podcast host Brittany Eady, restaurateur and Food Network alum Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley, wife of NBA great Charles Oakley, are also part of the cast next season.
Shamea Morton Mwangi has been promoted to full-time Housewife. Supermodel Cynthia Bailey, a cast member from seasons 3-13, will return as a “friend.”
Sheree Whitfield, who held a full-time position in Seasons 1-4, 9-10, and 14-15, Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross are exiting the show. Burruss is leaving after 14 consecutive years on the hit Bravo series.
Kenya Moore is also out for Season 16 after being indefinitely sidelined for allegedly displaying sexually explicit posters at an event for newcomer Brittany Eady.
